As a director and scenographer, Maxime Kurvers also seeks to develop strictly musical ideas for the stage. He works with a simple performance device: a concert composed of a series of sound or musical actions performed in the theatrical space.
Not being a composer himself, and therefore not applying any harmonic or musicological knowledge a priori, Maxime Kurvers seeks to produce a musical writing that only the theatre would make possible.
It will therefore not be a question of presenting a piece to the public strictly speaking, nor even a concert, but of a few actions and proposals which would be likely to give rise to a spectacular situation.
